Christmas Writing Contest

Join Us for the First Annual FreelanceWritingCourses.com Christmas Writing Contest

This year’s topic is “The Best Christmas Gift.”

Submission Period: Now through Saturday, December 11th, 2010

Entry Fee: None. It’s Free. Join the fun.

Prizes: We will select 5 finalists. The winner will receive a free online course of their choice at FreelanceWritingCourses.com, value up to $250.00. The winning submission will also be published in our online newsletter. Runners up will receive a $50 gift certificate to use as they wish on FreelanceWritingCourses.com. Their submissions will also be considered for publication in our online newsletter. Everyone who enters will receive a special gift – TBA

Winners will be announced and their submissions will be featured during our “Online Christmas Party” on December 16th, 2010.

Submission Guidelines: The Rules:

  1. This contest is open to articles of 1,200 words or less, on the topic of “The Best Christmas Gift.” Entries outside the word limitation will be disregarded. Type the word count on the first page of your entry, along with your Name and e-mail address.
  2. You may enter only One Article for consideration. The article may be fiction or non-fiction in any genre.
  3. All entries must be in English, original, unpublished and not submitted elsewhere at the time of submission. FreelanceWritingCourses.com retains one-time publication rights to the 1st through 5th place winning entries to be published in our online newsletter.
  4. Entrants will register online in the box located at the bottom of this page. Once you have registered, you will be sent a special email address for submitting your entry. All entries must be submitted through the special email address, with the content pasted into the body of the email. Attachments will not be opened.

  5. The deadline for entry is Midnight, December 11th, 2010. No exceptions.
  6. Winners will be announced during our “Online Christmas Party,” December 16th, 2010. If you are not announced as a winner during the show, you may market your submission elsewhere.
  7. The names of the winners will also be posted in our December Online Newsletter.
  8. The following are not allowed to enter the competition: staff members of FreelanceWritingCourses.com and their immediate families.
